Seed Scatterer

Squirrel
Loose-lipped scatter hoarder takes a funny five minutes out
from nut collecting and hole digging to recite a water cooler tale
about the great squirrel migrations of the past, when the ancestors
would follow the acorn harvest, travelling treetop to treetop
from New Jersey to Indiana; an oaken legacy sprouting in their wake.
With an erratic jump-flip-twist, the mad session ends; it’s back to work.
